Train conductor, Brad Slater found the cat under the engine deck outside of Wainwright, Alberta. The cat was there for 12 hours, in -40 degree weather. Slater fed the cat beef jerky and water and brought it home to take care of him. He named him ‘Q-199’ after the train he found it on. Just woke up to a message from CTI news in Taiwan. They wanted permission to do a story on Q199. He has officially now gone global! Posted by Brad Slater on Wednesday, December 14, 2016 The story got out and Brent and Lynnette Hahn from Melville recognized the picture. It was their cat ‘Tiger’ that had been missing since November! Slater says him and his wife will be driving to Saskatchewan to reunite ‘Q-199’ with his family!
