We packed up in the Fox FM RV yesterday around 4:30pm and set off for the City that knows how to party:
That’s right, all week long Canora has been deep in the holiday love with the Canora Winter Lights Festival, and we got a chance to be in last night’s parade!
And talk about amazing parade weather! Although I still wore gloves, I learned my lesson from the Yorkton Santa Claus parade! This time we got a chance to walk beside the RV and get a chance to throw down some high fives (shout outs to the little fellow that wanted to give me a pound as we walked by!) You may remember that during the Yorkton Santa Claus Parade we were situated third from the front in the parade order, last night? Second to last, right by Santa Himself, I asked him if he is giving me a slow cooker for Christmas but he said he couldn’t tell me.. darn.
After the Parade we stuck around and took in the sights and sounds of the Winter Wonderland in King George Park. This is definitely something you have to see for yourself, The lights, the bonfire, a COLOSSAL snow hill for the kids to play on, not to mention the free hot dogs, and fireworks, it was, to me, an official start to a pretty special Holiday season; My first Christmas with Fox FM, I’m so stoked!
