I actually had legit trouble sleeping last night. As you may know, I volunteer at Yorkton Terriers home games, and usually during the week I don’t get home from a game until after 10pm. which is a bit of a tricky proposal, seeing as how I get up quite early to get to work! It was only made worse last night when my upstairs neighbours decided to (and I wish I was kidding)….put together a shelf. hammer and all. I politely asked them to keep the noise down, and they totally did and I ended up falling asleep, but I have to think, is it normal to build furniture in the middle of the night? Am I the weird one for having such a specific sleep schedule? I thought the general rule was “no noise after 11pm”
Beside that, boy what a hockey game last night. Totally worth staying up late. I placed 8th in my Fantasy Football league, which means not only do I suck at Fantasy Football, but I’m out of the playoffs and can finally shift 100% of my attention to hockey, (good timing I may add as well, given the World Jr.’s are only a few weeks away) Big shout-outs to everyone that checks out Terriers games when they can, and if you haven’t yet, the last game of 2017 is this Saturday, so check it out! They’re kind of on a heater right now….touch wood
Finally, I also have to mention something that happened this morning, sometimes (and I take full credit for this) I like to just….turn on the microphones and try to surprise Reader with something live on the air. Most of the time we get a good laugh or two, but this time around he definitely got the best of me. Right before a Tenors Christmas song was about to play, I bet Reader all the of the money in my wallet if he could name the other two Tenors beside Pavarotti. If you want to know how that ended up….well, you should buy me lunch as well, since I got cleaned out.
