Cereal sales have dropped by 30%. The reason why cereal says are down is because cereal is to difficult for millennials. New York Times published this story this week and said “Almost 40 per cent of the millennials surveyed by Mintel for its 2015 report said cereal was an inconvenient breakfast choice because they had to clean up after eating it.”
One spoon and one bowl has become to difficult to clean up. So youth are just grabbing a breakfast bar or skipping breakfast in general.
