i’ve been putting it off and putting it off but the time has come…I’ve got to see the dentist.
After a consolation, seems to be not as bad as first thought – 4 fillings and a tooth cap rebuild. Now i don’t have a fear per say of the dentist – i think it’s the sound of that dang drill that makes me shudder. On a recent show, i asked listeners if anyone else had an aversion to the dentist and found out I’m not alone. Some suggestions to help ease this trepidation?
Opt for “the gas” – probably not covered by insurence so could be expensive
A couple shots of Vodka! – an option for sure but i’ll still have to drive myself home
Ask for an extra shot of freezing – yes please!
An MP3 payer and noise cancelling headphones – this is the option i’ll be employing
I’ll be putting a song list together and transferring some tunage and donning a pair of either noize-cancelling headphones or maybe some in-ear buds.
If it can cut down the ambient sound of the drill and with an extra shot of freezing i just might get thru it
Vodka shots will come later : )
