It was a great evening at St. Mary’s Cultural Centre, as the Yorkton Chamber of Commerce held it’s 24th annual Business Dinner on Wednesday night.
It was great to see a packed house, as the city’s business community came together to mix and mingle, network, and enjoy a great meal.
The evening’s guest speaker was Saskatchewan-born “serial entrepreneur and philanthropist” Jess Tetu, who is the founder and CEO of numerous companies, ranging from day spas, jewelry and cosmetics to consulting, as well as the founder and CEO of a non-profit addictions recovery charity.
Jess told her story of a life affected by addiction issues and loss, and how she ultimately made positive choices to rise and become succesful, to a point where she is able to give back and make positive contributions to help others.
As always, it was a fun evening to get together with the members of our local business community.
Thanks to the Chamber for putting on another great event!
