What’s an Easy, Budget Friendly Item You Can You Bring to a Potluck?

We have a staff potluck next week and I ALWAYS struggle on what to bring! Will people like what I bring, will I bring something someone else already brought? So here’s a list of easy and budget friendly things to bring to a potluck:

First up, we have deviled eggs. This classic appetizer never fails to please a crowd. All you need to do is hard-boil some eggs, carefully remove the yolks, and mix them with mayo, mustard, salt, and pepper. Then, just pipe this delectable filling back into the egg whites and voila! You have a delectable treat that’s both visually appealing and scrumptious.

If you’re in the mood for something heartier, why not whip up a big pot of chili? The best part about chili is that it’s incredibly versatile, allowing you to add your favorite toppings such as cheese, sour cream, or even some freshly chopped onions. Everyone loves chili.

For a lighter option, consider bringing a refreshing fruit salad. This colorful dish is not only visually pleasing but also bursting with flavors. Chop up some juicy watermelon, sweet pineapple, assorted berries, and grapes. To take it up a notch, drizzle the fruit with a simple syrup, which will enhance the flavors and make it even more irresistible.

If you’re a fan of comfort food, then baked macaroni and cheese will surely be a hit. The creamy cheese sauce combined with perfectly cooked macaroni pasta creates a heavenly combination. Simply mix the cheese sauce with the cooked macaroni, pop it in the oven until it turns golden brown and bubbly, and you’ll have a dish that will have everyone coming back for seconds.

For those feeling a bit adventurous, why not try making homemade sushi rolls? It’s easier than it sounds. With sushi rice, nori sheets, and fillings like cucumber, avocado, and shrimp or crab, you can create your own bite-sized pieces of sushi. Simply roll everything up, slice it into bite-sized pieces, and watch as your fellow potluck attendees marvel at your culinary skills.

Those are some options if you’re struggling what to bring to a potluck like me! Save this down if you need a handy list for a future potluck.
