Merry Christmas, Everybody!

It’s my last day of work before Christmas, and I just wanted to take a moment to wish everybody a great holiday,

I thought I’d show you guys a few of my favourite Christmas decorations, that are making my apartment a little more festive, and puts me in an even more festive mood!

First off, I’ve gotta start with my Christmas tree itself.

It just doesn’t feel like Christmas until I get my tree up!

I love the lights, and everything that adorns my tree, including lots of Hallmark decorations, from the Marvel universe, Star Wars, and the Walking Dead.

Those are nice, but there are some that have a little more sentimental value, including some that were painted by my nieces, in years past.

These were painted by Ella, Abbie and Sofie, and they’re priceless!

As is this super-cool decoration made by my niece Brynn, who knows where her Uncle’s NHL allegiance lies…

Brynn is a crafty young lady, and she knows her uncle too well!

I have a few other Flyer ornaments as well, but I’m still lacking some Rider, Raptor and Tennessee Titan decorations. I have to remedy that!

My love of music is covered as well, with some trumpets, musical notes, and headphones in the mix!

I’ve also got some other decorations, that don’t go on the tree, but I love ’em just the same.

My Mom had doubles of this fun little ceramic train, so she gave me one.

All aboard the Christmas Express!

And this little ceramic tree reminds me of the one my Grandma and Grandpa Read used to have on the table in the front room, when I was growing up.

Two loves in the same photo – Christmas and Scrabble!

And this last one, I found in my travels last year, and as soon as I saw it, I had to have it. It’s so bright, and really lights the place up, with some neon flashiness!

I love this tree! It adds some gaudy Vegas flash to my apartment!

And being the last day of work before Christmas, Eddie and I were feeling a little extra festive!

I didn’t wear any Christmassy clothes, but Eddie saved the day with some facial decorations!

I hope everybody is able to enjoy Christmas, whatever you get up to.

Here’s one more of my favourite holiday tunes for the road, and of course, I had to bring a little Rolling Stone flavour. It’s Keith Richards’ cover of a Chuck Berry classic.

From my family to yours, Merry Christmas, everybody!
