2024’s Mobile World Conference happened in Barcelona and there’s a new iPhone case from Clicks that comes with a working keyboard. It’s like bringing back the days of Blackberry when having a full keyboard on your phone was the norm! Remember when they used to dominate the market? My hometown school was near Waterloo so we used to have Blackberry employees come and show off their phones, now this case is bringing nostalgia back.

I think this is such a cool idea because there are still people out there who miss the feeling of typing on a physical keyboard instead of a touchscreen. Plus, it could really help with typing accuracy and speed. I personally get “fat fingers” when typing. Meaning that I’ll try to type one letter and it’ll register a different letter instead. Thank goodness for autocorrect.

But of course, there are some downsides to consider. The case does add some length to your phone, which might not be ideal for those who prefer a sleek and slim design. And let’s not forget about the price – $139 USD is definitely on the steep side for a phone case. I got my basic case for maybe 10 bucks! Does a keyboard really add that much?

So, the big question is – would you get this iPhone case with a working keyboard? Personally, I think it’s a fun and practical accessory to have, especially for those who do a lot of typing on their phones. But the price tag is definitely something to think about. It can really help those who prefer the feedback of a physical keyboard, and can help in certain situations where typing on your screen is not ideal, aka wearing gloves. Great idea though, and I hope it sees some success!
