The Swan Valley Stampeders dropped their final home game of the season on Tuesday night as Waywayseecappo kept their playoff hopes alive with a 4-1 road victory.
After the scoreless first period the Wolverines struck just over half-way through the 2nd as Luc Cernohous finished off a 3 on 1 beating Elias Giaccari-Dimtriou over the left pad for his 2nd of the year to make it 1-0.
Sam McPeak and Sean Williams added to the visitors lead in the later stage of the period to give Waywayseecappo a three-goal advantage after 40 minutes.
In the 3rd, the Wolverines added to lead with 3:46 left in regulation when Thomas Kaufield tap home his 10th before Darren Hunt snapped the shut-out bid with a PP goal of his own to get the Stamps on the board.
Wolverines netminder Jase Wareham made 26 saves on 27 shots for the victory while Stamps’ starter Elias Giaccarri-Dimitriou stopped 37/41 shots in the loss.
The Wolverines go right back at it on Wednesday hosting Selkirk while the Stampeders wrap up their season on Saturday vs. Niverville.

The Melville Millionaires had their 6 game win streak snapped on Tuesday, 5-2 at the hands of the visiting Nipawin Hawks.
Finley Radloff scored twice for the Hawks while Braeden Jockims and Artem Hrabovetsky chipped in with singles. Tyson Endall made 34 saves for the W.
Bradley Banach and Jadon Iyogun replied for the Mils who got 29 saves from Ethan Rau in the win.
The Mills return to action on Friday night hosting the Melville Millionaires on GX94.
