New Fear Unlocked – Shutting Off Your Alarm in Your Sleep!

Noooo, I definitely was not late to work this morning. But I think I unlocked a new fear that I experienced – somehow, in my deep sleep, I managed to hit the snooze button not just once, but multiple times over the course of an hour! I have my phone alarm go off every 10 minutes whenever I hit the snooze button until I turn off my alarm.

I woke up feeling completely disoriented and confused as to why my alarm hadn’t gone off when it was supposed to. It took me a few moments to realize that I had been the one hitting snooze in my sleep without even realizing it. It was like my body was on autopilot, determined to keep me in bed for just a few more minutes. I have accidently shut my alarm off in my sleep before instead of automatically hitting the snooze button, which my solution for that was to put an extra alarm in there in case the first one accidently was turned off.

I couldn’t help but laugh at the situation. How does someone hit snooze repeatedly without even waking up? It’s like my subconscious was trying to sabotage my morning routine. Needless to say, I had to rush to get ready in record time.

This might be a wakeup call (pun intended) to try to get some better sleep so you don’t need to hit your snooze button. When you have to wake up at 4am, it can be a bit tough but I’m finding ways to adjust! Don’t be like me, get some good rest!
