“Airwaves for Health” Radiothon once again successful in 2024

The two-day GX94 & FOX FM “Airwaves for Health” Radiothon wrapped up yesterday (Tues) and 2024 was another big success.

Health Foundation executive director Ross Fisher says just $331,090 came in over the past two days, and more is still expected to come in with Legacy Co-Op and McDonald’s Yorkton with promotions ongoing.

This year funds raised will go towards the purchase of medical equipment for the Yorkton Regional Hospital that includes a new chemistry analyzer, a medication packaging system, and items for the operating room, intensive care unit, and chemotherapy rooms.

Also, funds will be used to purchase equipment for the newly-established Sonography program at Suncrest College.

You can still donate to the Health Foundation by calling 1-800-636-3243 or donate online HERE
