Swan River RCMP arrest male for dangerous driving in Sapotaweyak

A 26-year-old is in custody in connection with a dangerous driving incident  in Sapotaweyak Cree Nation early Saturday morning. 

Errol Leask remains in custody and faces multiple charges including Dangerous Operation of a Motor Vehicle and Possession of a Weapon for a Dangerous Purpose. 

Swan River RCMP  received reports of a man wielding a weapon and threatening people in Sapotaweyak Cree Nation.

The suspect then took a family member’s vehicle and police located it and attempted to stop him, but he fled, driving recklessly and after crashing the car, he was apprehended with the help of community members.
