The Melfort Mustangs finished pool play on Wednesday with a 3-1 victory over the host Oakville Blades to clinch a berth in Saturday’s Semi-Finals at the 2024 Centennial Cup in Oakville, Ontario.

Logan Belton scored twice for the Mustangs that got 29 saves on 30 shots from netminder Kristian Coombs.

Kaleb Binner also scored for Melfort who finished with four straight wins in pool play.

They’ll wait their Semi-Final opponent that will be determined in Friday’s Quarter-Finals featuring Calgary against Winkler & Navan Grads battling the Collingwood Blues.
