Hey, everybody! Reader here, and well, did you notice something different about us this morning?

That’s right – we’re careening headlong into the summer of 2024 with a new look, a new name, and the music you love.

If we had to describe it in three words, it’s “Variety that ROCKS!!!”

Now, I know… change can be scary, but have no fear – the gang’s all here, including Eddie and I taking you through your mornings!

A familiar face – the pride of Melville – Travis, will guide you through Cruz Workdays!

The dynamic duo of Stacie and Zenga will keep you company on your drive home!

And Mariah and Ty are on duty to help you chill out in the evening!

The biggest change you’ll find is when it comes to the music. We’ve got a fantastic variety of tunes from the 70s, 80s and 90s, that will have you singing in the car, dancing at your desk, and chilling in the backyard or at the lake.

It’s those tunes that as soon as you hear those the first couple of notes, your ears perk up, and you say to yourself, “YESSSSS!!! That’s what I’m talking about!”

That happened a few times this morning to me, when the Rolling Stones’ “Miss You,” Tracy Chapman’s “Fast Car,” Jimi Hendrix’s “Manic Depression,” “Van Halen’s “Hot for Teacher,” and most surprising of all, KISS’ “Lick It Up” had me singing in the studio!

It’s the music I grew up on, and I’m sure Eddie will get used to me singing away. Well, more so than I already do!

We have some great new features, including “Big Shiny 90s.”

Not to mention the “Noon Wow’er!”

Now, of course, when you do something big, you’ve got to celebrate, and that’s just what we’re doing.

We’re marking the dawn of our new era with some help from one of the greatest Canadian rock bands of the 80s… Honeymoon Suite!

These guys have had some major hits over the years… “Feel It Again,” “Stay In the Light,” “Burning In Love,” and, of course, “New Girl Now.”
