Today is Tim Hortons Camp Day! Tim Hortons Camp Day is an annual fundraiser dedicated to making dreams come true. On July 17th, 2024, 100% of hot & iced coffee sales and proceeds from Camp Day merchandise go directly toward sending thousands of underprivileged youth from across North America to incredible camps. These camps aren’t just a getaway, they are transformative experiences where kids boost their confidence, develop leadership skills, and create lifelong memories. You’re not just enjoying a coffee, you’re investing in the potential and dreams of young people.
Today, I was at the West Broadway location in Yorkton. The entire morning show was done live right there, with me at Tim’s and Reader in the Studio. It was a great day to get some coffee – I had about 2 by the time 8am rolled around (that’s what happens when you’re at work by 5am). I also had a breakfast sandwich cause why not, and partook in trying their special Camp Day donut, which was delicious. I had an amazing time meeting and chatting with the staff and customers. Even the RCMP was there working the cash register and kitchen!
There were also some other ways to donate, including a mini ring toss to win some Timmie’s merch, and a henna making station. I got a cool henna on my hand, which is currently still drying at the time of writing this. Overall, it’s always great to help in any way I can to send kids to an amazing summer camp experience. And if you’re reading this on the 17th, you have time to donate too!
