In recognition of Emergency Preparedness Week, WFD will be hosting a BBQ lunch on May 11 in the fire hall parking lot (back up location is arena). Come check out the fire trucks and equipment and learn what being a firefighter involves. Also attending will be Whitewood EMS, Broadview RCMP and Whitewood EMO. All proceeds from the BBQ will go to the new fire hall. Thank you to Borderland Co-op for sponsoring the BBQ by supplying the burgers, hot dogs and drinks!
