Yorkton Sports Hall of Fame and Museum will hold its annual induction night to recognize our Home Town Heroes. Four individuals and one team will be inducted into the Sports Hall of Fame: Gerry Adam (curling), Steve Laycock (curling), Madison Neufeld (synchronized swimming), Kathy Ziglo (golf), and the 2013-14 Yorkton Terrier hockey team which won the 2014 RBC Cup national Junior A championship that spring. As well, a new award will be presented this year. The Yorkton Lions Support for Sports Award, which recognizes longterm support for local sports, will be presented to five individuals, one business and one organization.
